About the artwork: During our research, we were unable to determine Homer’s favorite painter. However, one artist who is particularly well-known for his depictions of scenes from The Odyssey is the Ancient Greek vase painter, known as the "Berlin Painter."

The Berlin Painter, active around 500-460 BC, was a master of the red-figure technique and is renowned for his elegant and balanced compositions. His works often depict scenes from Greek mythology, including several scenes from The Odyssey. His depictions of Odysseus' adventures are considered some of the finest examples of Ancient Greek vase painting.
